2 Months and i'm off my rocker!

This is no longer called a  "diet" as much as it is called watching what I eat and stick in my mouth!
This "diet" was done weeks ago, I couldn't financially keep up with the expensive costs of buying the foods I was.
It is so sad that it is more expensive to eat healthy as compared to eating garbage.  I have not been the type to eat fast food nightly or even once a week. I have not been a sugarphene and I haven't really ever been addicted to brown beverages other than coffee.. I just can't afford the costs of the diet I first started on.
I routinely eat salads,chicken with my fav. dressing DAILY for lunch. For dinner- if I even eat because by the time I get home i'm just exhausted (I work a high energy job) I just want to go to bed. I had to stop drinking water like it was going extinct because I was swelling up like a balloon.
By the time I get home also, i'd rather go to bed or do something relaxing like sew than to go walk around the park or go for a long walk because-ive walked so much at work im just tired and my feet hurt. (Excuses right?) Like many Americans, Gym costs are too high to be a member of one again and I do not have room in our 950 square foot apartment to buy a tredmil or anything like that.
I do however, own a bike and love riding my bike. I was all gunho about buying a bike and riding it everywhere and then the short lived thoughts of that occurred and ended because I would have to go clear out to SE Portland for something-arather and seriously... im not in shape to do that.
I have lost weight 13 lbs and I am not on a "fad" diet or a "pill" diet either. I am on a-eat green veggies and poultry or fish diet- much like of what we grew up on at our mothers house when we were little-she was close to very vegan. -My Aunt (my mothers sister) owns cows and they raise there own beef. When my father was still around his wifes parents were cattle farmers also so,we always had red meat. I am not big on red meat since growing up. I don't mind a steak now and then but, not as much as I use to when I was between 12-17 years old. I'd rather have chicken or turkey.
I remind myself of what not to eat. sometimes I do have cravings like all people and I have to give in. Usually my cravings is chocolate or an ice cream-I am not a person that gorges on the stuff either! 1 small bar or 2 small scoops of ice cream-normally sherbert actually- is what I would eat.
I have cut back on drinking so much water because I have to have it with lemon and it was making me have acid reflux and my feet swelling! PAINFUL!
so anways...that is where I stand right now..

SO far ...so good... Revamping this diet of mine!

Drinking "too much" water equals water retention and swollen feet! OUCH= I drank a whole lot of water yesterday and by the time I was done sewing in my studio and then went to lay down in bed and watch a movie with hubby my feet were HUGE and I couldn't feel them! That is No bueno! ... put the pups and they are find this AM> Be careful on water consumption, don't over do it!

 Lunch Yesterday:
Salmon Salad with Italian Dressing.
Can of Pink salmon
large bowl of greens
light italian dressing - no sugar, no carbs in mine.
Water
Iced Coffee

Breakfast today:
Yougurt with grapes and blueberries.

Lunch:
Oven cooked teriyaki chicken
Large salad
Poppy seed dressing
Water
Maybe iced coffee

Dinner tonight:
 Salad and water! does not sound tasty but its the diet and what I have on hand.
Blueberries and grapes
Maybe iced coffee due to the need for some productivity before this weekend shenanigan.

Snacks: Puffed rice! YUM! not carb free but, better than some other alternatives!

Trying to get back into the groove of things!

I'm attempting to get back into the groove of this diet that is going onto 2 months now.
I have had many,many slip ups!
*Chocolate
*Ice cream
*Starbucks
*Pizza
*Burgers
*Frys
*And all those other carb filled delish things that your not supposed to eat while on a diet!
...... well...I have a large box of Salad I need to consume here SOON ..I spent the money on it and I have yet to open the package and consume any of it. There for those past weeks of the first month I had gone threw 3 containers of salad and many veggies and chicken to top it... now..not so much!

I have decided that tomorrow is BACK ON THE BALL! .. because I can't "afford" to not be healthy again. I was feeling so much better, drinking good amounts of water and laying off the sugar and crap.. so..back on this thing I go..peddling away!

Lunch for Monday the 16th is:
Salad
Canned pink salmon in water
Italian Vinagerate 
Seeded grapes
and LOTS of water!

Dinner: chicken salad and my fav. dressing
.......lots of water!

And prior to those two..breakfast...scrambled eggs with onions maybe a little spinache too.

I have been drinking coffee at home again-making my iced drinks and taking them with me in the car as I run errands to fend off those lovely drive thru espresso stands that I hold near and dear to my heart... My  crave for iced coffee made at home:

Iced home brewed coffee
Toasted Marshmallow syrup
Vanilla Silk Soy milk... over ice..heavenly!
I make my coffee the night before so when I wake in the early AM (6Am..yeah! i'm nuts! I don't work until 830) I just pour the things together and rush out the door because i'm cool like that.

............................................................................There we go..back on this diet!

On the fritz

........... The diet has been on the fritz.
I have watched what ive been eating but i've also indulged- in moderation- goodies like: A slurpee on a very hot Oregon day (doesn't get this hot around here that often!) A green tea frapp from Star*****,Fresh strawberries with condensed milk and a burger from Clamity Janes in Sandy,Oregon.
...I do eat salads. I guess i'm a Tues-Friday Dieter??
I watch what I eat and I drink a lot of water and lately ice tea with NO sugar..so i'm doing okay in the fluid department but, not so much in the consumption of reguar foods. I tried "spicing" up my lunches-failed-epically. I was doing great with eating salad and chicken .. each...and...every..day.. I guess as its closer to month 2 .. its been hacked!

Who stole my good deeded diet?!!!!!!! i'd like to confront them!
Todays foods:
Breakfast- Bannana and my normal 5 cups of coffee (YUM)
Lunch- 6oz baked teriyaki chicken breast  and a peach, Ice tea, then a green tea frapp!
Dinner-Strawberries and condensed milk (I KNOW I KNOW AWFUL! ) its hot out and Ive had a sweet tooth and this just beat it up!
And..A Lemon Cream Slurpee from 711 .. (very good btw)

...................... tomorrow is a new day! its really hard with my husband home and the limited time lately.. i've been so busy working on projects, cleaning and getting burnt out! Today was my "Monday" at work and I did nothing but RUN RUN RUN all over the place including going shopping for our Activities Department and as I had a pool on the top of my car-with tie downs might I add (im skilled in the prepared dept) and..then ..right before I got back to work..the damn thing flew off the top of my car.. I immedietly put my car in reverse-with no cars behind me of course- and hauled butt backwards. jumped out of my car, did some mission impossible stunts and got back into my car before the "Oversize load" truck got to my little car! ...talk about adrenaline rush! Then later we had a smores get togeather.that was fun..until the ash plumed and I came home smelling as if I spent a weekend around the camp fire... which wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't had so much to do when I got home and now i'm writting this blog when I could be productive... but what fun is that?

Oh Dear..this isn't good!

Nope my diet has officialy fallen off the bandwagon about 7 days ago when my husband left to go on vacation to see his family in the southern states...
Fried chicken
sugary snacks
ice cream
fast food..
its not pretty people!!!!
I keep telling myself "i'll get back on it" and haven't..
i'm burnt out on salad..tired of the stuff...can't stand it right now.. i need to revamp my diet..
My husband will be home today and im so very excited!! and were going grocery shopping togeather so we will see what happens and I will be adding new additions to my diet. Different veggies and fruits to spice it up a bit! i'll post a little note as to what I have gotten..

For breakfast..
5 cups of coffee..because im addicted to caffine
Red Raspberries fresh from the plastic container I bought them in
A granola Bar

...for lunch
Because I spent the bucks on it..
Salmon from a pouch..the first time i've had fish in over 2 weeks..
this time i'm not over doing it and im going to watch myself....
1/2 cup homemade salsa with peppers,jalapenos,onions and tomatoes with Blue corn chips
A large salad with fat free Italian dressing
...........water water water water water!!!!!!

....... Reweigh in 22 days and I have a feeling it won't be any loss..if not gain back a couple of what I have lost... not feeling very happy about that but, im only human!
